What is a caricature?A caricature is a cartoon portrait which resembles its subject in a humorous fashion. Rather than aiming for a photographic likeness, the caricaturist playfully emphasizes those outstanding features which identify the individual. |
How much would it cost to draw caricatures of guests at a party or special event?The basic rate is $100 per hour. Usually a two-hour minimum is required. I can draw about 7 to 10 guests per hour. Additional charges may be added for preprinted backgrounds or travel times of more than one hour. |
